FIRE PREVENTION BUREAU
The Fire Prevention Bureau of the Del City Fire Department is responsible for Fire Investigations, Fire Inspections, Business Occupancy Inspections, New Occupancy Plan Reviews for Fire Codes, and Fire Code Compliance for current businesses. It is led by Deputy Fire Chief/Fire Marshal Z. Williams and is assisted by Major Skip Self.

The Del City Fire Department provides our citizens and our visitors with a Professional, Career 24 Hour Fire Department. As an ISO 2 Fire Department, we strive to provide a quality service for all types of emergency and non-emergency responses.

The Del City Fire Department is responsible for the Office of Emergency Management for the City of Del City. Fire Chief Brandon Pursell serves as the City’s Emergency Management Director.

OPERATIONS
The Del City Fire Department is an all-paid, career fire department. There are five administrative positions and 30 operations positions. The operations division is the largest division of the fire department, and includes fire suppression, emergency medical response, HAZMAT response and technical rescue response.
