About Del City Parks and Walking Trails
The Parks and Recreation Department provides residents and visitors with clean, green, safe and accessible open space in more than 200 acres of park land, 3 miles of bicycle and walking trails and 1.7 miles of shoreline for fishing at Eagle Lake. Explore our parks below!
Splash Pad Community Survey 2026
We’re exploring the possibility of a splash pad honoring the legacy of Sgt. Steve Townsend, a Del City firefighter who gave his life in the line of duty in 1999. Your input will help shape the design. A space built by the community, for the community.
