The Del City Police Department is committed to providing professional police service through community cooperation, creating realistic solutions to problems, maintaining respect for individual’s rights and enhancing the quality of life for the community.
The Del City Police Department, led by Police Chief Steve Robinson, along with 34 commissioned officers and 13 civilian employees, protect citizens and property from criminal activity, keep the peace, enforces Federal, State and Local Laws, apprehend criminals and prepare cases for prosecution.
The Police Department located at 4517 SE 29th street in Del City, covers 8 districts each district covering one square mile in size.
In addition to the Patrol Division the department includes the Investigations Division, Community Policing, Animal Control and Support Services. The department has a Tactical OperationsTeam, K-9 Unit and a Motorcycle unit.
