DINING IN DEL CITY

2022 marked the inception of “Dining in Del City” a program that highlights one local restaurant each month. The “Dining in Del City Exposé” program was created in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic. We saw restaurants that were staples in the community forced to close due to lack of business. We decided to be innovative, help them with social media, and explore marketing to become available on mobile food platforms. This program helps these businesses with a social media presence, acknowledgement on Cox Channel 20, City of Del City billboards, City of Del City social media accounts and posting on community billboards in City of Del City buildings. These are innovative ways to spotlight and acknowledge the local restaurants to help bring in revenue at no cost to the business. It helps the business to progress in moving to social media platforms and food delivery services.
