HIP HOP HIIT
If you love the beats of hip hop? Then why not use it to help you shed those extra pounds? Hip hop has become a popular workout music choice due to its upbeat tempo and engaging lyrics. But the real benefit comes from its ability to make exercising more fun, to help you stick with it long-term. According to research, fun and enjoyable exercise is more likely to be done regularly, leading to better long-term success with weight loss. Additionally, habit formation becomes more likely when you consistently engage in an activity. What you have then is a recipe for success that is both fun and effective.
TRAP CARDIO
Trap Cardio is a dance fitness class that mixes strength training with cardio to the hottest Hip Hop, Afrobeat and Caribbean tunes. In this class, Trap Cardio promotes body positivity and loving yourself to your best selves.
ZUMBA DANCE
Zumba is a form of aerobic dance exercise similar to Jazzercise; its distinctive characteristic is its use of Latin American music and dance rhythms to create a party-like atmosphere in class sessions. There are two versions about the origin of the program’s name: one version states that Zumba comes from a Colombian slang word meaning “to buzz like a bee” or “fast-moving” ; the second version is that it was chosen arbitrarily as a brand name with a Latin American flavor.

TRAINERS / INSTRUCTORS
Hip Hop HIIT is a high intensity workout that will have you wanting more. HIIT or High Intensity Interval Training workout class delivers intervals of intense cardio and/or strength exercises paired with active recovery. follow-along dance and HIIT blend will make you forget you’re working out. You’ll learn some beginner-level hip-hop moves while also knocking out your cardio with a series of squat twerks, high knees, boxing side leans, jumping jacks, and more. This is a perfect way to amp up your energy and enjoy movement when you don’t feel like doing a serious workout — grab your friends, co-workers & friends and make this sweat session fun!
In Intro to Functional Moveement I create and deliver safe and effective exercise programs for healthy individuals and groups, or those with medical clearance to exercise. I motivate clients by collaborating to set goals, providing meaningful feedback, and by being a reliable source for accountability.
